We came together from different corners of the world, drawn by the same idea: that geography should never determine opportunity. From Berlin, we are building the infrastructure for a fairer, faster global job market, one hire at a time.
Constantin Michel
Berlin, Germany
Born in Aachen, Germany, Constantin Michel is based in Berlin, where he lives and works today. After studying Human Resource Management in the United States, he began his career in tech recruitment before finding his calling at the intersection of global work and technology.
Since 2020, Constantin has been part of the WorkMotion mission, helping companies build and expand international teams without the friction of borders. Since 2026, he has been focused on a new frontier: harnessing AI to make remote hiring truly fast and fair.
His work is driven by a single conviction: when people can work without geographical limits, it changes global societies for the better.
Bhagya Kundanchalil
Berlin, Germany
Born in Kerala, India into a military family, Bhagya is based in Berlin, where she leads operations at Synmatch AI. Growing up across different cities in India gave her an early instinct for adaptability, reading new environments quickly and making things work.
After completing her Bachelor's in Computer Applications in Chennai, she spent four years building that instinct in the world of B2B SaaS, where she learned that great products live or die by the systems behind them. That pull toward something more formative brought her to Berlin to pursue a Master's in Software Engineering.
Joining Synmatch AI as Founders Associate, she turned the chaos of an early-stage startup into a machine that runs smooth, tightening operations, building process from scratch, and earning the trust that comes with the title Head of Operations. Behind every fast-moving company is someone making sure nothing slips. That is the job. She is good at it.
Atishay
Berlin, Germany
From Bengaluru, India, Atishay is based in Berlin, where he works as Founder's Associate at Synmatch AI. With a background in electrical engineering and a Master in Management from ESCP Business School, he developed his entrepreneurial instincts early.
As Founder's Associate at Synmatch AI, Atishay brings a can-do attitude to every challenge. When obstacles arise, he sees problems to be solved, not barriers to accept. His competitive nature and love for challenges drive him to find solutions where others might see dead ends.
His honest, straightforward approach and helpful nature create a positive environment for the team. He believes every challenge is an opportunity waiting to be unlocked. Building something valuable is not just what he does. It is what drives him.
Aasem Elshahat
Berlin, Germany
From Alexandria, Egypt, Aasem Elshahat lives and works in Berlin. He started out in civil engineering, working on a 400-unit residential project in Egypt's New Administrative Capital before software pulled him in a different direction.
Drawn by the idea that software could solve problems at a pace concrete never could, he studied Computer Science in Egypt, then moved to Berlin and graduated in Media Informatics from the Berliner Hochschule fur Technik in 2026.
At WorkMotion, Aasem is the Product Engineer behind Synmatch AI, an AI-powered hiring platform he builds end-to-end, from the first sketch to the code in production. He believes hiring should be fast, fair, and human. AI, used well, is finally how we get all three.
Athira Unni
Hyderabad, India
Based in Hyderabad, India, Athira brings a global perspective to talent acquisition shaped by academic and professional experiences across multiple regions. After completing her bachelor's degree, she moved to Melbourne, Australia, where she earned an MBA in Human Resource Management from Deakin University. Her passion for people and talent development naturally led her to a career in recruitment.
With experience across both agency and in-house talent acquisition, Athira has managed the full recruitment lifecycle. She is known for her proactive, consultative approach — aligning hiring strategies with business objectives while delivering an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the process.
After nearly nine years in Australia, Athira returned to Hyderabad to be closer to her family. Her ability to build strong relationships across diverse markets and understand evolving talent needs brought her to Synmatch AI, where she focuses on ensuring every candidate and client receives the attention needed for a smooth, effective hiring process. She is passionate about connecting the right talent with the right opportunities, regardless of geographic borders.
